Since our establishment in 1932, we have been expanding our business in the field of fine chemicals, making full use of our unique technologies in chemical reactions such as nitration, amination by reduction and sulfonation.

We have been providing a wide range of products in various fields such as coloring materials, electronic materials, pharmaceutical or agrochemical raw materials, resin additives, and photographic chemicals by utilizing our manufacturing know-how cultivated over the years. In order to build up trust with our customers, we have worked steadily to develop products under the motto of “High Quality, Price Competitiveness, and Stable Supply”. We always stand on the customer’s point of view and value “to be a stagehand to support the quality and competitiveness through that our customers can win. We will respond sincerely to customers’ demanding requests, viewing them as opportunities for new growth. We also place emphasis on producing maximum output (results) with minimum input, and we do not neglect environmental considerations.

In light of recent changes in the world political and economic situation, our supply chain has become even more important. As a trusted partner to many of our customers, we have established a 100% substitutable production system at our Wakayama and Fukui plants. This has enabled us to improve production efficiency through collaboration between the two plants.

HISTORY

January 1932	Founded as Showa Chemical Kogyosho.
January 1944	Changed the company name as Goni Chemical Kogyosho.
February 1951	Established as a joint-stock company with the name, Goni Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd.
August 1956	Began manufacturing nitro amino phenols.
June 1983	Expanded the multi-purpose plant at Wakayama.
January 1985	Constructed a reduction plant at Wakayama.
June 1990	Increased capital to 20 million yen.
January 1991	Established Fukui Factory.
November 1995	Constructed a distillation plant at Fukui.
November 2007	Installed a conical dryer at Wakayama.
December  2022	Constructed a drying plant at Fukui.(Installed a conical dryer).
